McClain Delaney is the only Maryland Democrat to vote for Nancy Mace’s (R-SC) MAGA H.R. 30 bill that allows ICE to jail and deport domestic violence survivors who come forward to report abuse. [The Baltimore Banner, 12/22/25] [congress.gov/house,  House Roll Call Vote 17]

H.R. 30 was opposed by the Coalition of Labor Union Women (AFL-CIO), the National Alliance to End Sexual Violence, Planned Parenthood, the National Women’s Law Center, and 200 additional groups working to fight domestic violence.

Less than 6 weeks after saying she regretted not focusing enough on her vote to lock up innocent immigrants, she flip flops again and doubles down on supporting Laken Riley.

While trying to whitewash her past votes by claiming on WAMU that she is “the most and biggest proponent for immigrants,” and yet also stated, “I think Laken Riley was an act that if you are illegally here as an immigrant, it was for violent crimes.” Meanwhile, legal and nonviolent immigrants have been snatched off the street and held without due process by ICE.
